What Prior is

Prior publishes a sports-betting model's output — projected plays, the best price we can find across the books we track, and a record of how those plays graded after the games finished. It is a lens on a statistical model. It does not place bets, hold funds, or connect to your sportsbook, and it is not affiliated with any sportsbook.

Odds and best-price figures are point-in-time snapshots from the books we track. Prices move constantly and may no longer be available at your sportsbook, so always confirm the current line before you bet.

Everything on the free surfaces — the track record and its calibration — is published so you can judge the model before you pay for anything. We think that is the honest way to sell a tool like this.

You must be 21 or older

Prior is intended only for adults 21 and over, in places where sports-betting research is lawful. By using Prior you confirm you meet that requirement. Sports betting is not legal everywhere; it is your responsibility to know the rules where you live.

No advice, no guarantee

Prior is not financial, investment, or betting advice, and using it does not create any advisory relationship. Model output is a probabilistic estimate, not a prediction of any outcome.

Past performance does not guarantee future results. The published record is real and updates as plays grade, but a record — however good — is not a promise about tomorrow. Any betting you do is your decision and your risk. You are solely responsible for your own wagers and any losses.

Responsible gambling

Betting should be entertainment you can afford, never a way to make money or chase losses. If it stops being fun, or if you are betting more than you can afford to lose, please step away and get help.

If you or someone you know has a gambling problem, call or text the National Problem Gambling Helpline at 1-800-MY-RESET (1-800-697-3738), available 24/7, or visit the National Council on Problem Gambling at ncpgambling.org. Most sportsbooks also offer deposit limits and self-exclusion tools — use them.

Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

Prior offers two paid plans, each of which automatically renews until you cancel: $39 per month, or $290 per year. Eligible first-time subscribers receive one 7-day free trial per account; a trial converts to paid after 7 days unless you cancel first. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal — cancellation stops the next renewal, and your access continues through the period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by Stripe.

We stand behind the freshness and honesty of what you pay for. During any paid month, if any of the following happens —

• two or more slates in a rolling 14-day window have no board posted before first pitch;
• results grading is delayed by more than 48 hours; or
• a Pro surface shows wrong or fabricated data —

that month is refundable on request, no questions asked. On the monthly plan the refund is the affected monthly charge; on the annual plan it is one-twelfth of the annual price for each affected month. Email support@housemoneyhq.com to request one.

Privacy

We keep the personal data we collect to the minimum needed to run Prior, and we share it only with the service providers below that make the product work.

• Account & authentication (Clerk). When you create an account, Clerk stores your account, authentication, and session data on our behalf, plus a small set of app metadata: your subscription tier, a Stripe customer reference, and a one-time- trial flag.
• Payments (Stripe). When you subscribe, Stripe processes your payment. Your card details go to Stripe and are not processed by Prior's application servers.
• Hosting (Vercel). The app runs on Vercel, which processes standard request data (such as your IP address) to deliver pages and keep the service secure.
• Analytics (Vercel Web Analytics). We use cookieless, aggregate analytics that record the page route, referrer, approximate (coarse) location, and your browser, operating system, and device type. These are not tied to your identity.
• Email. If you email us, our email provider processes your message and email address to deliver and answer it.

We use this data only to run your account, process payments, keep the service secure, and understand aggregate usage. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it beyond the providers above.

Tracking and Do Not Track. We do not track you across other websites or apps, we do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not sell or share your personal information, there is nothing for a Global Privacy Control (GPC) opt-out to act on, and we already avoid, for every visitor, the cross-context tracking GPC is meant to limit. Browser “Do Not Track” (DNT) has no common industry standard, so we do not respond to it separately.

You can ask us to correct or delete your account and associated data by emailing support@housemoneyhq.com. We honor those requests, except for records we are required to keep for payment, fraud-prevention, accounting, tax, and other legal purposes.

If you are a California resident, you may request the categories of personal information we collect and the purposes for collecting it, and you may request deletion; email support@housemoneyhq.com and we will respond as the law requires. This policy may change as the product changes; the effective date at the top of this page will move, and material changes will be noted here.

Acceptable use

Prior is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't scrape, resell, or redistribute the data or model output, don't try to bypass the paywall, and don't use the service to break the law. We may suspend accounts that do.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. For material changes to the subscription terms or fees, we will notify paid subscribers directly by email, including how to cancel before the change takes effect, and such changes apply prospectively — taking effect at a later renewal, never retroactively to a period you have already paid for. For other changes, the effective date above will move and continued use of Prior means you accept them.
